Services:

  1. Requirements analysis: Definition and documentation of your business requirements using interviews and observation of current processes and systems

  2. Functional and technical specifications: Detailed specs that describe the features, functions and technology that meet your requirements

  3. Solution plan and architecture: Planning and diagramming the technology and platforms that integrate with your current IT environment and anticipated trends in technology

  4. RFP/RFI development:  Creating what vendors need to understand and fulfill your requirements.

  5. Vendor evaluation/Proposal management: Vendor recommendation, evaluation of responses, peeking “behind the curtain” during demos, contract guidance and negotiation

  6. Project management / implementation:  Full management of the process, see Project/Program Management

The best plans account for every aspect of the proposed solution.  We don’’t overlook some of the more important implications, such as:

  1. -Long term cost of ownership.  The cost of operating and upgrading the system typically exceeds its initial purchase and implementation

  2. -Ability of user groups to accept and adapt to change.  Does the incoming solution really make things easier for its everyday users?

  3. -Predicted life of the new technology

  4. -The company’s long-term IT strategy.  If the new solution does not mesh with that, there’s a rocky road ahead.

We take a holistic look at the problem and the possible solutions, starting with analyzing the business need, working through a complete evaluation of vendors and solutions, and ending with the long-term considerations.
